South Pine River
I went up to the South Pine River, near to where I live, to test out some new ideas for making water look more lifelike. The smooth blur look is fine, see previous post, but I like the idea of mixing blur and sharp images. (more…)

Welcome to my new Blog!
Everyone has blogs these days it seems, so I thought I’d better keep up and I’ll be posting here about images, trips, new gear and some techniques.
In my new capacity as Editor of Better Digital Camera magazine I get to play with lots of new ‘toys’ and whilst you’ll have to read the details in the magazine I plan to post my initial impressions here first.
If I have made some new images I’ll put them here for people to comment on and each time I come across a new Photoshop tip I’ll make a note.
