Classic Bunker Bay trees
Over the weekend CF and I conducted an intensive photo workshop at the Quay West Resort at Bunker Bay near Dunsborough, WA. We managed to get out for three shoots but the emphasis was on seminars and tutorials in the conference rooms.
I’d like to thank everyone who attended, our group turned out to be a great bunch with a full range of skills and experience from relative beginner through to a few guys who really knew their stuff. We even had one participant come all the way from South Africa to join us - thanks Dennis, we thoroughly enjoyed your company over the weekend.

Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable weekend Nick. From the onset it was very apparent that both you and Christian demonstrated a willingness to share all of your knowledge including very recently acquired techniques that you currently employ in your very own workflow. For two entire days together, you ensured that you answered every question from each member of the group and you were able to unravel what were previously difficult subjects to fathom with a methodological approach and the ability to connect with the audience.
Thank you for the very gratifying experience and I will be highly recommending any future workshops to my peers that you are a part of.

Thank you Nick for an enjoyable weekend at the Bunker Bay workshop. My head is still spinning with all the information that you and Christian passed on to all of us, but I have learnt some very helpful hints over the weekend.
It is such a blessing that two photographers of your calibre, gave us all the opportunity to learn and feed off your experiences and techniques, and the way you and Christian explained subject matter was very clear and precise, but, that doesn’t mean I totally got everything you two said, but hey, that’s my fault not yours!!
Once again thank you for the weekend, full of fun, plenty of laughs an some great food at the resort.

Hey Nick, “I learnt so much and yet know so little”, I might coin that saying :-). I enjoyed the workshop very much , it had structure, flexibility, information and so many useful tips ( & was fun too) and I appreciated the time you took to help me with this new A900 beast. Your technical explanation on colour management and other matters even though it just touched the surface, made sense to a novice like myself. You and CF make an awesome team providing that rich, vibrant and talented mix.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself and it was a pleasure to meet you in person.

I would just like to say that the workshop yourself and Christian put together blew me away. From the moment i got there there was nothing but warm welcomes and happy people. Both of your were more than willing to help out in any situation and always found a way to answer any questions asked. I would also like to mention that the attitudes of the other participants was amazing, everyone was so friendly and were more than happy to share any knowledge and experience they had. So a big thank you to everyone, especially yourself and Christian and i would highly recommend any further workshops to all interested.

Hi Nick,
What an amazing 2 days. You and Christian work so well together. It was great watching you bounce ideas of each other. It was fantastic that two such amazingly talented photographers are willing to share so much. I was expecting a lot of shooting ideas and help and I certainly got that. But what I gained from the talks on Lightroom and Photoshop just blew me away. You both have so much enthusiasm and are able to pass on so much knowledge in a fun and very easy to listen to style. I was never overwhelmed by the immense amount of information you both gave. My brain is in a spin and I can’t wait to put it all into practice. The only complaint (a good one) is the shopping list has reach $1000 and is climbing. I can’t wait for all my goodies to arrive.
Please let me know if you and Christian are joining forces again. I bow to the masters and thank you so much.
