Here's a neat idea - the bean bag is nothing really new but these new Pods have a built in tripod bush so you can attach them to the cameras tripod mount. |

By the time this is posted the new issue of Better Digital Camera, Issue Number 34, should be on the newsagent magazine racks. I got my copy a couple of weeks ago and I'm very pleased with the new look. Please feel free to email any thoughts or suggestions to me, Nick Rains, as I'm keen to tweak things further as I get new feedback. Next Issue (35) will include mid range zoom reviews, tripod head reviews, RAW processor reviews, Murray Fredericks SALT exhibition, 3D panoramas, studio shoot with Montabetti and Campbell, Portrait masterclass series, Geo Tagging and much more. At 124 pages we have the most content of any photography magazine, except our sister magazine Better Photography of course. |

Hopefully I'll be getting my hands on the two new Tilt Shift lenses from Canon. Update 29/7/09 : I now have the 17mm TSE for testing. I'll post some images in a few days. |

 I was in Sydney last Thursday to shoot a cover for Better Digital Camera. Montalbetti and Campbell did their usual wonderful job whilst I shot some stills and a short video to give you an idea of what went on. I can’t show the finished result ‘cos it’s secret until the magazine comes out but here’s a teaser. |
